Your editor (Judy) has recently received an opportunity to remain at home and take care of the home front (affectionately known in the military family circle as CinC House, or "Commander in Chief: House"). In doing so, I have also found an opportunity to begin working on the things in our modest home that have been bothering us. These projects are a learning experience for me, since I've never done anything like this before. I owe a lot of my accomplishment and tutoring to my good friend, Jeff. The kitchen (especially the wall cabinets) would not have been possible without his extensive knowledge (and lots of tools/toys!)
I've documented the work process with lots of pictures to show how much work (and change) was involved. Please refer to the shortcut buttons above for the next pages of projects. So far the ambition is to install hardwood flooring throughout the house, remake the kitchen and get some painting done. As Spring came, so did the urge to garden. I've completed some extensive work out in the yard and now have gardens.
